As part of this evolution, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Megan Black as Chief Executive Officer and welcome Helen Wood as General Manager.
Megan has been part of the Futuro journey since 2022, playing a significant role in shaping our culture, systems, and commitment to quality. Helen joins Futuro with more than two decades of experience across educational, operational, and executive leadership within the early childhood sector.
Together, alongside our broader senior leadership team, they will continue to guide Futuro's growth while ensuring our Purpose, Vision and Values remain at the heart of every decision we make.
As part of these changes, Founder Gavin Jennings will transition from the role of Chief Executive Officer to the Board, where he will continue providing strategic oversight and supporting Futuro's long-term direction. This new structure allows Gavin to remain closely connected to the organisation while focusing on governance, growth, and the future of Futuro.
These leadership changes position Futuro to continue building strong teams, supporting educators and strengthening the exceptional learning communities our children and families know and trust.
As we continue to grow, with four centres now operating and Cobbitty and Oran Park opening in October 2026, our commitment remains unchanged. Our strengthened leadership structure ensures we are well-positioned to support our growing community while continuing to create places where children feel known, families feel connected, and educators feel supported to do their best work.
